This is the same tree from Day 1 of my project.  It’s amazing what mother nature can do.

I am one of those people who hates it when stores start putting out Christmas decorations before the Halloween items are off the shelves.  For me, the Christmas season begins as we wave goodbye to Thanksgiving.  Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love this time of year…just hate that the retail world seems to try and move the celebrating up each year in the name of boosting revenue.  But now that Thanksgiving is over and the leftovers are gone, let the revelry begin!  Baking cookies, wrapping presents, decorating the house with gaudy Christmas lights, I am all over it.  Best wishes to you and yours.

You might have noticed a gap in my 50-50-50 project sequence.  I had to go a out of town for a few days for work, and could not figure out a way to safely squeeze my camera into my carry-on.  Darn airline baggage restrictions!  So, I got off track for a few days, but am jumping right back on the horse.  Hopefully, I will come up with a few projects before the end of the year to make up for missing a few days- or this could just wind of being the 47 pics, in 50 days, with my 50mm lens.  We’ll just have to wait and see what I come up with.
